Marietta All Bike Motorcycle Rally & Ride for the Red
Join us Saturday, June 27, 2009 for Marietta's All Bike Motorcycle Rally and the "Ride for the Red" Dice Run. A benefit for the Washington County Chapter of the American Red Cross. Event takes place in the Parking Partners Lot & 2nd Street. Plan to attend and enjoy the entire day of fun...live music, food, dice run and bike show.

Dice Run Information
Registration: 9:00am
Cost to enter: $10.00 per card
Time: First bike out at 11:30am; Last bike out at 1:00pm
Last bike in at 3:00pm
Grand Prize: $1,000 cash
Assorted Draw prizes to be awarded
Length of Run: 1 ½ hour run, plus a ½ hour stop at a motorcycle dealership
Ride Description: Enjoy an exhilarating ride north out of Marietta on St. Rt. 26 dubbed one of the Top 40 Scenic Drives in the nation by Life Magazine. Traverse Rt. 260 east to New Matamoras and follow St. Rt. 7 south back to Marietta along the Ohio River National Scenic Byway. The ride includes five (5) stops for dice rolls and comfort breaks.
All proceeds from the Dice Run Ride for the Red benefit the Washington County Chapter of the American Red Cross. Dice Run sponsors are Allegheny Energy-Pleasants/Willow Island Power Stations and PEPSI of Mineral Wells.
Directions for the Tally card.
Turn left off of the 2nd street Rally parking area onto Butler Street. Follow Butler street till it dead ends at the stop sign on 7th street. Turn right on 7th street. Merge into the left lane at the next light and turn left on Greene street. Follow Greene street straight thru and it will become rt. 26 as it leaves the city limits near the Broughton Dairy Plant. The first stop is the Lane Farm campground - on the right 6.6 miles from the Rally - just past the bottom of a long downhill. Continue then to the right on rt. 26 north. Then turn right on rt. 260 - 25.8 miles from the rally. Follow rt. 260 until it dead ends on rt. 7 - 35.6 miles from the rally. Turn right on rt. 7 south. The next stop is on the right about 100 yards at the New Matamoras city park. Turn right into the short alley at the upper end of the park. Then you can turn left to return to rt. 7 south. The next stop is the Jug dairy bar on the left in Newport - 49.4 miles from the rally. The volunteers will be just to the left of the Jug in the picnic area near the river - behind the building next door to the Jug. After leaving the Jug, turn left and continue south again along rt. 7. The next stop is Hometown Honda on the right - 62.1 miles from the rally. The volunteers will be inside the dealership. After leaving Hometown Honda - turn right and continue south on rt. 7. Continue along rt. 7 as it enters Marietta and becomes first Pike Street, then slightly left on Greene street - still following rt. 7 south. Turn right on 2nd street off of Greene street to return to the rally - 65.2 miles from the start.

Camping is available at the Washington County Fairgrounds located at the north end of Front & Second Streets. Cost is $20.00 per day full hook-up / $15.00 per day tent camping. Showers and restrooms available on site.
