The Marietta-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau was incorporated on July 2, 1962 and is a 501(c)6 non-profit governed by a board of directors. All members of the Board of Directors must be dues paying partners of the CVB and are elected to serve three-year terms. Each board member will serve a three year term, renewable once for a maximum of two consecutive terms before a mandatory one year leave. After said leave, the board member may be invited back to serve on the board. Officers may extend their service beyond the term limits at one year increments.
