Cabin on The Hill is a place to relax, wade in the water, get romantic, play horseshoes, read, hike, and smell the flowers.  It's a great place to play with the kids or your dog.

Enjoy the magnificient scenery a few steps away from the front door.  Your surrounded by the Wayne National Forest and just steps away from the Ohio River.

Use our full kitchen to try your recipes and time to daydream about what it was like to sip coffee in the 1800's.

Plenty of places to sleep.  There are two queens, two twins and a futon and two bathrooms.

This authentic 1840's A Cabin on the Hill, located near Historic Marietta Ohio, was originally built as a church, now refurbished with the comforts of home.  It's great for a get away weekend or a vacation.  You will enjoy the privacy of 90 acres whether it's picknicking or warming up next to a cozy fireplace.  You an tell stories at the outdoor fire pit while tending to your cooking on a campfire.

The area is perfect for hunters, bicyclist, antique hunting, storytellers, photographers, historians, writers, and artists.  It's also fun for the ATV'ers. You will find quality linen, satellite TV, DVD, Hairdryer, fresh coffee beans and herb tea, full kitchen.  However there is plenty of space to pitch a tent if you choose to rough it. 

The cabin is located within two hours or whitewater rafting near the New River Gorge near Charleston, WV.  It's a place to relax, play horseshoes, enjoy champaigne, read or just smell the flowers.  Then soak in the old clawfoot tub while listening to spa music.  A bottle of wine is included for your enjoyment.

Marietta is known for antiques, history of settlers, museums, boutiques, steamboats,  & restaurants and friendly people.  It is the first Ohio Settlement in the Northwest Territory, located 2 hours southeast of Columbus.
