Site: Farmers Castle Museum and Educational Center is the repository for the Underground Railroad in Southeast Ohio. A large Underground Railroad Exhibit is on display.Other items of interest on display: Restored cira-1850 Brewster C-Boot Spring Carriage-Dana Family Memorabilia Ca-1875 Parlor Suite-Pump Organ-1900 Edison Victrola-Apothecary Display- Arrowhead and Indian artifacts from the Belpre Area. The Belpre Historical Society is collecting and preserving artifacts and archival material that relates to the Belpre Area history. They meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Farmers' Castle Museum and Education Center. All meetings and programs are open to the public.
