Marietta Tree Sculpture Tour
During the weekend of June 26 - 28, 1998, a series of unusually violent storms moved through the Mid-Ohio Valley. Destructive flooding occurred on Duck Creek, the Little Muskingum and smaller streams. The evening of June 27th, hundreds of trees in Marietta were uprooted or snapped off by devastating winds which accompanied the storm.
The City of Marietta asked David Ferguson to use his chainsaw sculpting talent to produce something positive from the broken trees. We invite you to take a leisurely stroll through our parks to find the seven (7) works of art created by Mr. Ferguson.
