This weekend we will play host to a special Square Dance and Wiener Roast Event. This is a benefit for breast cancer research, Susan G. Komen Walk for the Cure. Neighbors Julia McAfee and Tara Williams are raising money by walking 60 miles in 3 days for breast cancer research. They are hoping to not only raise money for this very important cause - but to also educate everyone about breast cancer and importance of early detection. The evening begins at 6pm, with the band - 4 Hits and a Miss - starting to play at 7pm. Sweetapple Farm Market & 4 Hits and a Miss are both donating their services for the evening and do not profit from any money collected at the event. Admission is a $5.00 donation to the "Walk for the Cure." Concessions will be available as well.
