Greater Tuna
By Joe Sears, Jaston Williams and Ed Howard
What do Arles Struvie, Thurston Wheelis, Aunt Pearl, Petey Fisk, Phineas Blye and Rev. Spikes have in common? They are among the upstanding citizens of Tuna, Texas third smallest town, where the Lions Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies. This eclectic band of citizens gives the audience an hilarious send up of comical, small town American mores- with plenty of wit and loads of fun
and the town folk are all played by TWO actors! In this Off Broadway hit, two actors create the entire population of Tuna in a tour de farce of quick-change artistry, both of costumes and of comic characterizations. Since the same two actors play all 20 characters, the laughter never stops. "Howlingly funny." Variety
