4-H Endowment Dinner & Auction - April 5

There is great food, a live auction, and a fun-filled evening planned at the 4-H Endowment Dinner & Auction on April 5, 2008.

The annual event will be held at the Washington County Junior Fair Building at the Washington County Fair Grounds. The dinner menu consists of a choice of grilled New York Strip Steak or chicken breast, baked potatoes, green beans, salad, homemade rolls, desserts, and beverages.

Festivities will begin when the doors open at 5:15 with the start of the Silent Auction and the Country Store.

Just a few of the items up for auction include: Henry “Golden Boy” 22 magnum Firearm with laser-engraved 4-H logo; Ruger MKIII KP512 .22 pistol; Savage Mako Shark .17 HMR Bolt Action; Ruger 1022 w/ScopeCamouflage Package; Remington 870 12-Guage; 2008 Ohio State Football Tickets ; OSU Archives Framed Photos of Woody Hayes, Stadium, First Football Team, and more; 4-H Endowment Fenton Lamp; Thomas Stahl Print; Picnic Table; Longaberger Basket; Gift Baskets; Lee Middleton DollsLittle Gentleman, Silver Elegance with tea set, Butterfly Dreamer, Tiny Cheer; and much, much, more!

Truly, there is something for everyone and fun for all!! Doug Hess, Clear Channel Mid-Ohio Valley Radio, will be the emcee for the evening and Keelan McLeish, McLeish Auction Service, will conduct the live auction.

The proceeds from this evening will be used to fund scholarships, leadership training, educational programming, and citizenship training for the 4-H Youth in Washington County. How can you help?By donating tax deductible items for the auctions and country store and/or money for cash drawings, you will be helping to create the leaders of tomorrow. Pick up of donated items/money can be arranged. A list of donors will be printed in a dinner program and announced during the dinner and auction.

Adult tickets for the evening are just $20.Youth tickets are available for $10.

Doors open at 5:15 p.m., dinner is at 6:30, and the live auction begins at 8:30. For further information, to make a donation, or to purchase tickets, call the Extension Office at 740-376-7431.
